Michael R. Thompson, trumpet

Michael R. Thompson, trumpet player, is also the owner of Thompson Music Co., a Pro Shop for Trumpet and Trombone players in Omaha, NE.  As a performer Mr. Thompson is Principal Trumpet in the Lincoln Symphony in Lincoln Nebraska. Other orchestral work includes the San Diego Symphony, the Nebraska Chamber Orchestra, and Omaha Symphony. Michael is the founding member of the Palladium Brass Quintet. He is also a member of the Omaha Brass Ensemble and the Plymouth Brass in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Michael is the Trumpeter on the Mannheim Steamroller PBS special 30/40 (30 years of Mannheim Steamroller Christmas and 40 years of Fresh Aire) recorded in the fall of 2014.
